Introduction

The MCA programme prepares graduates for professional practice in Information Technology. This is a programme that is in tune with the industry requirements. The regular curriculum is supplemented by additional inputs to keep abreast of the changing scenarios of the IT industry. The emphasis of the program is on application of software technology to meeting business needs. The programme offers in depth, application oriented technologies that are relevant to today’s business scenario.

In addition to the regular curriculum, there are periodic seminars, project works and assignments which enable the students to sharpen their skills.

Duration of the Course :

The course shall extend over a period of three academic years consisting of six semesters.
